Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to design and build scalable, distributed backend systems capable of supporting high-volume transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect distributed backend systems capable of processing large volumes of transactions.
• Design resilient, highly available systems focused on scalability, observability, performance, and reliability.
• Build complex backend services, REST APIs, and event-driven applications.
• Optimize application performance using caching, concurrency, asynchronous processing, and distributed messaging.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous delivery practices.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on system architecture, service boundaries, API contracts, and data models.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform stability.
• Develop secure, cloud-native applications using modern engineering and security best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous technical improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional Java software engineering experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of OOP, multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous processing, and JVM performance tuning.
• Strong experience designing large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, as well as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, resiliency, and security best practices.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, automated testing, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
