We are seeking a skilled Data Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing data architectures across cloud platforms and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, and data modeling, along with the ability to provide technical leadership, support cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end solution design. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can align complex technical solutions with business objectives in a collaborative, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design:
Collaborate with Business PO, analysts, and tech leads to understand business needs and design comprehensive solutions including data models and integration points. - Technical Leadership:
Lead and guide technical decisions across the project lifecycle. - Guiding & Coaching:
Support and mentor Data Management and Data Science teams. - Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
Liaise between CX, Roche Platform, and DP teams. Identify root causes, resolve issues, plan changes, track implementation, and manage deadlines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in technology architecture, systems design, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in data warehousing, modeling, AWS, and Snowflake.
- Hands-on with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and Snowflake (modeling, schema, SQL, tuning).
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and business-to-tech translation.
- Security best practices and implementation experience.
- Able to work in EMEA time zones.
- Excellent written & verbal communication in English, with the ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
