Job Description

We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in the JavaScript ecosystem, a deep understanding of automated testing frameworks, and hands-on expertise in building test environments from scratch. You should know how to design robust test suites, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to identify bugs early and drive continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks specifically tailored to the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot robust testing environments locally and within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and complex integration testing.
• Establish automation KPIs, quality metrics, and reporting mechanisms for project stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate new testing tools, optimize test execution performance, and reduce flaky tests to improve overall automation reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA testers to define test strategies and automation roadmaps.
• Identify, document, track, and manage software defects, working alongside the engineering team to ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong professional experience as an Automation Tester, Senior QA Automation Engineer, or SDET.
• Strong, hands-on programming expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Highly Preferred: Professional experience or strong familiarity with Java environments and Java-based testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, JUnit).
• Demonstrated ability to independently set up and configure testing environments within the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Jest).
• Advanced experience utilizing version control systems (Git) and building automated quality gates in CI/CD workflows.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, API testing, risk-based testing, and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
